Granda and the kids playing snowballs outside the hotel where we had our apartment
The view from the
veranda of the apartment - as you can see there wasn't exactly an excess of snow
Here is the family (minus Lyn who was the photographer) on the slopes
There was a small fenced off area for kids
tobogganing - and as you can see from the runs above it we could have done with a bit more snow.
Here is Ben on a sled we hired for the week skidding down the little snow area
Here is Lyn and Erin sitting on the air filled barrier which was around the kids sledging area
Erin in her little sled - we found this a great
device for getting Erin around the snow covered area at the bottom of the slopes -she could be buckled into it and it really functioned like a "snow buggy"
Bethany and Ben at their ski lesson with Snow Magic. Not off the nursery slopes as yet - despite Mum and Dad's hopes
Beth skiing down past Ben on the rope tow going up the nursery slopes
Ben on the rope tow - it was higher than he was at some points on the way up, but he had no difficulty in utilising it as a means of getting up the hill
Beth and Ben in their lesson - I actually think it was part of their test on the last day
Ben skiing down the nursery slopes
Caitlin was too small to ski (although she did try on of the others skis and boots!) but she got a run down the nursery slope anyway
Beth and Ben with their ski instructor Cedric - they loved him - after receiving their Crystal award for their skiing prowess
Erin and Caitlin with Lyn at the bottom of the nursery slopes
The last day Beth and Ben went up the mountain to the first stop on the bubble and skied a blue slope - not bad for 4 and 6 years old
Ben following Lyn down the slope - his little legs got tired and he had a bit of trouble with the drag lift after this (he fell off three times)
The view of the chalets which were in front of the hotel in which we stayed - the ski slopes were behind them and we could nearly ski back to the front of the hotel
